English League Cup
Carling League Cup Final Results 1960-2009
The English League Cup is seen by the 'larger' higher league (Premiership) clubs as less prestigious than the English FA Cup and other competitions. Some of these 'bigger' clubs often field a weaker side in the League Cup competition, making the opportunity for lower league clubs to shine and show the true strength of the team to a wider audience.
